"Who’s There Lurkin’" is a playful card series where everyday bedroom objects transform into quirky monsters like PillyFlu, the pillow monster! These creatures come to life when the lights go out, making it a thrilling card-collecting adventure for kids.
Each monster has its own backstory, friendships, and rivalries, adding depth and excitement. Plus, the cards are color-coded for rarity—red for common and blue for rare—making it easy and fun to spot the special ones. Dive into this imaginative world and discover all the bedroom monsters waiting to be found!

A New Face
I aimed to create a unique card series inspired by Pokémon but with a distinct visual style. By limiting the color palette, I crafted a cohesive world of monsters that feel like a family. Each character has a backstory, traits, and interactions, making them relatable and engaging for children. This storytelling approach sets my design apart, creating a rich, immersive experience not seen in other brands.
For the packaging, I designed an interactive element where a monster holds the trading cards, adding a playful feature beyond just opening and discarding. This approach not only enhances the play experience with an additional monster but also makes the packaging more engaging compared to typical plastic wraps.
